Ok guys and gals, I am a wreck, not only am I sick, but my crabbie girl is streaking! Here's the specs: 5-1 ratio of sub that is seven inches deep. 80 / 80 on the humidity gage, plenty of food and water both salt and fresh.I placed her in ISO, and gave her plenty of shells to choose from... She's was found like this at 8:00 a.m., October 20, 2015. Still no change at 1:30 p.m., any tips I should know about??
How long have you had the crab? Gauge digital or analog & where in the tank is it? What size tank with how many crabs? Species? What type of fresh & salt water? How deep are the pools? Lots of extra natural shells?
She is still holding in there, she has plenty of shells, and was in 80/80 substrate is 5-1, they are 7 others in the tank all but herself and one other are up. These are rescues from deplorable conditions. They are housed in a 75 gallon. She is an E. She was a rescue, and they have plenty of great foods some in which I purchased from you. (They love it).

So sorry I was gone again but I'm afraid it wouldn't have made a difference; as soon as I read it was an E I knew it probably wouldn't end well; for an E to streak they have to either be extremely stressed/already dying or had it stolen-they are so loathe to give up their shells. Do you know what happened to her old shell? Do you have other Es? Could she have been shell jacked?
≈19 clypeatus, 4 perlatus & 8 compressus in 4 tanks
How do you treat the water? Tap water's not the best idea. Treat the water with API water dechlorinator. Some of it is 'fresh' water, the rest gets the salt mixed in. Sach does this, I think Nat(breeder of c.variabilis) does it too.
4/1 - Stained crab is a boy! 1/5 - Got a 'sick crab' pack from Nat. I'm very impressed, it's a large pack so will feed all crabs! 30/6 - My new hygros have arrived! The big tank is 29degrees/81humidity. The little tank has the same temperature but 86humidity.
kitty: Not much activity in my tank. One morning I got up and it looked like a tornado went through it. Water bowls tumbled, food dishes upside down. Fixed it all up and have been waiting eversince. ! Nothing. DARN !!
