Well a bit about me. I am 55 and many days work out of my home office. I saw some strawberries at a mall and the container they sell with them ...hummm I thought that would go well on my windowsill and could keep me company while I work. giggle
well then I found out those cute plastic boxes are not really for keeping the Hermit crabs....... nor is the windowsill a good place to keep them. So 3 years later ....I think, and many $'s they now reside in our family room and I never get to see them as they play when I sleep.
hmm well this thread has been sleeping for quite some time. I'm 31 ... will be 32 at the end of the month. Married. I've been a vet assistant for the past 12 years, but am now doing it part-time as my pet sitting business has taken off, and is making me quite busy. I also do professional mobile parrot grooming. Hubby is 12 years older than me.
We live in Ontario Canada (near toronto) ... summers are hot and humid (and smoggy) anywhere between 25-40*C. And winters are freezing cold and dry, lots of snow ... anywhere from 5*C to -30*C
Need to update my details as I have now retired from teaching. Nothing else has changed except the fact that I now spend at least a day a week diving (scuba) and travelling to dive spots. I'm enjoying not having to go to work.

Well, I'm 40 (still feel I should be 20) married, my husband is also 12 years older than me, stay at home mom. I've done several jobs in my life: receptionist, secretary, teller, cashier, assembler, substitute teacher, marketing associate and have also worked with animals. I have two boys and of course pets: crabs, dogs and a cat. Hope to have fish again in a couple of years, but I want to have live plantsestablished in the tank first. My son would like to have a bird, but I've put my foot down while we have the cat (she is quite the huntress). I live in southern Virginia, but my family is from southern Ohio.
