So, I hear that clover is safe for the crabbies, as well as things like dandelions.
Here's my question: How do you prepare them? I was told, with dandelions, you soak them in cool water first & then let them dry. Is this what you do with all fresh plants?
I have grass (very nice & lush), dandelions, clover, salvia, tulips, irises & peonies growing in my yard. (There is other stuff too, but I haven't identified them yet,hh) We don't use pesticides, fertilizers or treatments of any kind. (I'm not 100% on the salvia as they were bought at K Mart, so who knows what they used on 'em) The owner says there has never been any pesticides or anything used in the yard, and they have owned the property for at least 5 years, so I feel pretty safe with the stuff growing in my yard.
So how do you prepare fresh plants & flowers?
≈19 clypeatus, 4 perlatus & 8 compressus in 4 tanks
I just googled pill bug to see a picture and get research. I did it for my kids They love catching them so we decided to add them to the tank. I only have about 6 but they can multiple quickly. I have had no drowning yet. We got to see a crab eat one thou. The research turned into a quick science lesson for my 7 year old. He Loves that kind of stuff. I just placed them in the tank and they started to dig like the crabs. Maybe one day the will meet under the substrate?? Interesting
kitty: Not much activity in my tank. One morning I got up and it looked like a tornado went through it. Water bowls tumbled, food dishes upside down. Fixed it all up and have been waiting eversince. ! Nothing. DARN !!
