I didn't wanna go crazy because I don't have much money right now, I've always thought their portions were small & I am loyal to HCP
But I decided to give them a try. I originally was hoping to get some dehydrated lamb, but they sold out before the sale. At any rate, I placed my order on Friday morning late and I got my confirmation email right away and my shipping info by the same night. It is supposed to be delivered today. I ordered:
This came to $7 with no shipping That's cheaper than one blue light bulb, lmso.
It should come soon since my mail normally runs by 1, so I will post pics then. I hope the portions aren't too small; not because I'm worried about the $1 each (aside from the crickets), but that I have so many crabs, I want them all to try the new stuff.

Okay, my order arrived.
I knew it would be small, but it was also supposed to be delivery confirmation and they just left it in the mailbox, so that's all on my mailman.
Here's an idea of the size of the whole envelope
Here is everything inside
This is the 2 bags of dry crickets that are $2 each
Dry squid $1
Dry Rabbit fillets $1
Dehydrated Duck fillets $1
Now, one thing of note; the entire package REEKS of a yucky fish smell.
Oh, also included was a business card with a "free sample".
I'm not sure of my opinion so far, to be honest,hh. I expected small portions, so that isn't that big of a deal; though I honestly thought the squid would be bigger. The crickets however seem more full than I was expected & certainly more so than any of the other items. That's good since they are mostly for my big PP colony.
I still can't wait to try them out & see how they all go over.
For $7, I definitely got some variety. But considering the quantity of food I could get for the same amount of money on say....HCP, I'm not impressed.
I'll tell you all what & when I try it.

Wow. Those are really tiny portions. I can't even find ziplocs that small around here.
The crickets don't seem like such a bad deal. Looks about like what I can get in a jar from the petstore for about the same price.
For someone with a small colony of crabs, it seems like a good place. For someone with a lot of crabs - like you and me, not so much. My crabs could go through one of those baggies in just a few days, if that. Sometimes I feel like I'm raising little pigs as much as they eat - but, there are quite a few of them now.
Yeah I got my order, I'm getting to many crabs and bags are way to small. Mine like the squid Sach, I cut it with scissors....but oh the smell in the tat (: I ordered: Raspberry leaves (bag measured 1 3/4 x 1 3/4), spiurila powder, and pellets same size bag, another powder that I cant pronounce or spell, (Starts with an A and is suppose to be good for them?) 3 small bags alfalfa flowers, 2 sm bee pollen, 1 of a blue prairie flower, shrimp pellets, jasmine, think that was it... then I got camomile flower free and a little wax thing for crabs. I didn't get my refund for the leaves I sent. It was suppose to be in the bag as she was having trouble issueing it when I paid with my master card. I'm going to work to get as free as I can from buying for my crabs, it's just a pain sometimes, so little more practice with this dehydrator and I'll start trying to dry some fish and stuff......I'll send you big portions Sach (:

Yeah emberfusion, I was wondering about that with the crickets. I had a jar in my RS order when they cancelled it because I was bugging them about taking so long & I hadn't found a similar amount for the same price. I've only ever been given crickets before & the PPs snatch them up right away! So yeah, if I went to the store & bought this stuff for $7 I wouldn't be too disappointed, but it just isn't practical with the number of crabs I have unless they are treats

Just read this Sach...brand name for crickets I get is Aqua culture 1.2 oz. But they last for ever and I feed them lots. I've seen bigger containers at pet stores, but just happen to get them at wal mart this time. I don't think I get more than 1 of these containers a year and I have a lot of crabs.
Mine eat the squid, but only once in a while and I have to cut tiny pieces off with the scissors or they don't seem to mess with it. I am looking forward to seeing the changes once she get product in from AbCrab.
