So I placed a piece of breaded fish fillet from our supper in the tank for the crabs. When I walked by a few moments later I saw two of my crabs, one of the largest and one of the smaller crabs, playing tug of war with it. They of course were chowing down while fighting over it like siblings. Oddly enough the smaller crab got off with the large piece of the fillet and ran off into the hide to eat in peace.
I was wondering how many of you have had the same or similar experiences with your crabs. What foods do your crabs go crazy over?

I've seen the exotics do that over coconut, they'll all do it over pop corn though, he he. Last night it was banana & HCP Summer Orchard that was being hogged/fought over in both tanks. Señor (my jumbo E) spread his legs as wide as he could over the plate so OG could only snag little pieces from between Señor's legs, LMSO In the PP tank, they were arguing over the dried mini roses too. Watermelon is very popular too; they're gonna get some tonight
too funny, last night i gave them cheese, grapes, fish food and crab flakes all mixed together, they were all on top of each other trying to get their share, lol, todays menue is albacore tuna, olive oil, diced raw potato, blueberries, papaya, and crab flakes too, they eat so well!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine love green beans, and rolled oats when they get them. Lately mine have been getting green beans more often because I cook a lot of them for the baby snails. Those little babies eat so much, and all of my snails absolutely love green beans. They act like our crabs when we feed them popcorn or farmer's cheese. Heheh. I don't think mine have had bacon ever. They have had some ham ends from the ham and bean soup I made the other night. They seemed to love that.
