ok here are some photos.. First lets start with the new species that is a cross between Coenobita Bruneus aka brunie and Coenobita purpureus aka blueberry- My guy needs a name and i think im going to go with Count Brunberry..He is a male. [
So is this a new species that has the characteristics of both, or is this a hybrid offspring of a Brunneus and a purpureus? Inquiring minds want to know!

HOW COOL! I just love the coconut crab! I'm not sure about the color but is your hybrid crab green? On my screen he looks neon green. And his eyes are cool. As for a name for the pink indo I suggest Varick.
From what im told its not a mule. The are reproducing in the wild! DNA shows the cross. He has the personality of a blue berry. He will climb right into my hands. His legs are not symmetric like most crabs one side has one leg that is more blue then green. The eyes get me.. I love the little cream color line accross the top. I know there are other cross breeds too. Can you immagaine desinger crabs..lol
Ok the brunberry is s new species. I thought that each species needed friends of there own kind to be happy. Rule of three. Don't let them be, alone.? Man I'd love to have a bunch of them crawling around my tat. That coloring is so aw-some
Mine is getting along with my PPs. They are from ELHC but Bob is not selling right now he just got out of the hospital. Mel and I have become close friends with Bob and the crabs were gifts to us. I dont know the value but to me and im sure Mel too they are priceless. Hopefully Bob will reopen his shope and maybe he will have them for sale. Its a new find so its not something he has sold in the past. Right now the only place that has photos or any info at all on them is SACH'S pages! They are not named yet, Mel and i are just calling them Brunberries..lol.. Its a honor that we got them. I asked Bob if it was ok if we shared the info with Sach's page people and he said yes.
