HOW MANY CRABS DO YOU HAVE,WHAT SIZES ARE THEY & HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THEM?-(I always say name something they are the size of like a grape, ping-pong ball, etc.)
Kalipso- a bit bigger than a golf ball, about six years now
Jupiter- the size of a large clementine, about a year

a long 20gallon and a 10 gallon isolation tank
LID TYPE-(ie: Glass, aquarium hood, etc)
Glass, and plastic, not sealed but solid enough to hold in the humidity.
SUBSTRATE USED-(ie: I use playsand and Eco Earth in an approx 5:1 ratio)
Calcium sand and coconut fiber 1:1
SUBSTRATE DEPTH- just shy of six inches
HUMIDITY SOURCE-(ie: Do you use a humidifier, mist daily, etc)
HEAT SOURCE-(ie: Under tank heater, heat bulb) Where are they located?
Under tank heating pad , when ambient temp. is insufficient.
WHAT IS YOUR TEMP/HUMIDITY ON AVERAGE?-(Please give averages for both day & night)
70-75drgreed 80% humidity
WHAT TYPE OF GAUGE DO YOU USE (analog or digital)? (ie; I use AcuRite digital gauges)
Where in the tank is the gauge located? (ie; 2-3" off the sub, centrally located) analogy, on the back wall of the tank, about four inches from sub.
HOW DO YOU TREAT YOUR WATER?-(ie: Tap water conditioner, name brand)
right now I'm not using a conditioner, idk I feel bad adding more chemicals to their water, so I use distilled water.

WHAT DO YOU FEED YOUR CRABS?-(If you feed other than fresh food, what is it called & where do you get it?)
A bit of whatever fresh produce I'm eating at the time. When it's not winter I have a great organic garden. Eggshells, cuttlefish bones, coral, seasonal ruffage, spirlina, dried sea weed, dried fruits, small dried fish, nuts and seeds, meal worms, a mix of dried veggies e.i. Seeet potato, carrot, bell pepper, blood worms, krill. I try to feed a varied and nutritionally sound diet, with no preservatives or additives
WHAT TYPES OF HIDES/CLIMBS DO YOU HAVE?-(ie: coco-hut, cholla wood, etc)
In the tank right now (I rotate the decorations so their environment hopefully to make their lives more dynamic) they have a coconut hut, 2 peices of cholla wood, netting to clime on, and kind of a bridge shapped rock they can clime on or hide under
DO YOU HAVE AN ISOLATION TANK?-
HOW MANY EXTRA SHELLS AND WHAT SIZES DO YOU HAVE?-(Self-explanatory)
4 in the tank with them right now, 2 that are bit bigger than Jupiters current shell, one bigger than Kalipsos current home, but smaller than Jupiter's and one a bit smaller than Kalipso's.
DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM & ANY OTHER INFO YOU THINK APPLIES-
Soon after Jupiter's last molt, an odd spot appeared on one of her legs near the joint. And it dosn't look like anything i have seen b4. I've been thinking maybe her exoskeleton was damaged b4 it had a chance to fully harden, and that it is an issue that will resolve its self after her next molt. But bc it is something I haven't seen b4 and can find no similar cases of online, I defiantly wanted a second opinion. What if it is some sort of fungle/bacterial infection? The good news is, her mobility, behavior, and appetite seem to be unaffected. The affected area seems to be almost scan like, and it's boarded by darker colored shell, almost like an inflammatory response. Thank you for your time, I will try to add a picture.
