I spend most of my time surfing the crabbie sites (mostly this one ) trying to learn about them and hoping someone comes up soon. It seems like all the ever do is molt. How many times can they do that and why so often ?
Posts: 343 How Many Crabs Do You Have?: My son currently has sixteen LHC. We take care of them as a family, but they are most definitely "his crabs".Buster (M), Tiki (UNK), Lulu (UNK), Bejamin (M), Axle (UNK), Trista (UNK), Elliot (UNK), Tinsel (F) Registered: Mar 13, 2013 15:59:26 GMT -5
The smaller they are the more often they molt. As they get bigger you should see more signs of activity for longer periods. My son has had his crabs for a year and they have tripled in size (they were tiny when we bought them). We see them a lot more often now then we did a year ago.
kitty: Not much activity in my tank. One morning I got up and it looked like a tornado went through it. Water bowls tumbled, food dishes upside down. Fixed it all up and have been waiting eversince. ! Nothing. DARN !!
